Article marketing is a simple marketing strategy that anyone can get involved in. There is no huge investment required. It involves writing and submitting articles to the article directories like this one to drive targeted traffic to your website. That said, there are some people who are simply turned off by even having to write one 450-500 word article let alone a few hundred to drive traffic to their freebie squeeze page. These people ask ‘is it really worth It?’ I answer with a resounding ‘yes’.
You see, it is generally estimated that ‘buyers’ on your list are worth $ 0.50 -$ 1.00 which means that if you have say 100 subscribers, your list could be worth $ 50 -$ 100 a month – if you’ve got a thousand then this becomes $ 500 to $ 1000 and so on. Of course some marketers have lists even more profitable and some less profitable. The key lies in the source of traffic and the relationship built with it. Article traffic is high quality traffic and very good for relationship building.
When you write and submit an article of say 450-500 words your reader is able to make up their mind if they like your writing style or not. If they do then they are more likely to visit your website for more information or to claim whatever you offered them in exchange for their name and address.
The relationship you form with your reader helps lead your reader to your website where they will sign up for your newsletter. It is very important that you deliver on whatever you promised at your resource box and on your squeeze page/website too. If you fail to do this then there is all likelihood that this subscriber will become unresponsive or unsubscribe. You must go on as you started in your article.
It has been said time and again that ‘The Money Is In the List’ but the whole truth is that the money is really in the relationship you form with your list.
Are you building a relationship with your list? Why not try article marketing to build that all important relationship foundation?
