How to Get Joint Venture Partners

In order to have a successful online business you are going to want to have some joint venture partners who are involved in your business with you.  This will help you to get your company some much needed attention so that you will be able to compete with other online businesses.  Here are some ways in which you can attract joint venture partners to your business:

It is really important to attend as many live events as your budget and schedule will permit.  People will have an easier time responding to you in person where they can see you face-to-face and thus build some trust in the relationship that they are building with you. These live events happen all over the country and the world.  While some of these events are expensive, others are actually quite inexpensive.  You should be able to find one that will truly meet your needs.
Find a phone number on a business’ web site and use it.  You will be surprised just how easy people are to reach.  Make sure that you have a script ready for you to work off of whenever you do reach someone though. 
Send a card or a note via FedEx telling the person all about your product or service, your company and how they will benefit from being a joint venture partner with you.  Nobody will throw away a FedEx package without opening it.  So, once you grab their attention you will have an opportunity to be persuasive yet compelling.
Start off by contacting those people who are the easiest to reach.  This will open more doors for you.  As the doors continue to open and you take advantage of them, never forget about the people who you contacted first.  In this way you will be able to do some successful networking while also getting some joint venture partners.
Gather together four or five people that you enjoy working with and begin helping each other out by promoting one another.  By creating your own network you will be able to pass around traffic, leads and even sales and the commission that come along with them.  This is also a great way to get word-of-mouth advertising (also known as viral marketing) started.
Send out gifts or money.  This is a sure fire way to grab a person’s attention.  You will get more replies in this way, especially if you happen to be able to send the person their favorite item.

It is a good idea to use as many of these ways to get joint venture partners as possible.  You don’t have to choose just one method to use but you also don’t want to try all of these methods at one time either.  The idea is to be creative and make yourself and your business truly stand out so that you can find the joint venture partners that you need.  In doing so you will be able to grow a business in which everyone can be successful.
