Modern society has conditioned us right from the beginning to be employees, to work for money, to be dependent on a job and others for our survival. We are not taught to be self sufficient, or to be responsible for our own future.
Most people still think that life long security comes in a formal education, a certificate, which holds the key to a life long career in a certain profession, whether it be engineering, carpentry, dentistry, etc. What if you don’t like your career anymore and want a change? You’ll have to go back to school and get another certificate.
If you aren’t academically smart, that’s most unfortunate. You are destined for a career as cleaner, or labourer, or some other low paying job.
This is one thing they didn’t teach at school: All of our blue and white collar jobs are replaceable. Not only that, they are also gradually disappearing.
In their book “Why We Want You To Be Rich”, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki warned us about how even the highly sought after skilled jobs of rich Western nations are migrating to rapidly developing countries such as China, India and Vietnam. Whilst the middle class of those dcountries are expanding, the middle class is gradually shrinking in the rich, developed nations, creating a greater divide between the rich and poor.
Decades from now, people will come to the realisation that they’re reliance on a corporate job won’t be enough, there won’t be enough in the piggy bank at retirement. Unfortunately, many of them won’t know what to do.
Entrepreneurship is the only solution. As industrial age ideas such as big corporations and institutions disappear, so will masses of jobs. People will become financially independent through business ventures of their own, much like the cottage industries of the 18th and 19th Centuries.
The key is to start a business that provides value to a lot of people. That’s exactly what a network marketing business is about and that’s why I believe network marketing has a bright future.
People will turn to network marketing. This is a great opportunity for you to start an MLM business. If you’re a struggling networker, facing rejection from friends, colleagues and MLM nay-sayers, don’t be apologetic. Continue developing yourself into the leader people want to work with and position yourself to help those who will come to you in need.
