Home Based Internet Marketing Businesses – Secret to Getting More Joint Venture Partners

I work with a lot of people…beginners and people are pretty advanced…and they all have one thing in common-they all have (or want to have) home based internet marketing businesses. And one of the big questions they have, especially the beginners, is how to get more joint venture partners…more of them and bigger ones. Well, you have to know what joint venture partners respond to and give it to them!

That’s the secret! So what do joint venture partners respond to? Well, the biggest

thing they respond to is the same thing everyone else does: proof and money, right?

In addition to that they want to be sure they are promoting a good product.

So the way to attract more and bigger partners is to have one successful launch where affiliates make money.

So when you go into it, you may decide your bigger goal isn’t about making money right off the bat, right? Maybe you in this case decide you want attract partners…now and for the future. So you tweak things and pay out bigger than usual affiliate commissions. Then you know you’ll bring in some additional partners, get them activated and excited. Then the next time you do something you have partners who already believe in you and are willing to act.

If you don’t have a bunch of contacts…and if you are brand new, you don’t…how do you get the word out that you are going to do a launch…I mean, just offering bigger commissions isn’t going to do it if you don’t have anyone to pay the commissions to, right?

I’m a big believer in getting to a lot of live events. You go and meet people, make connections. Because one other thing people respond to besides proof and money, is trust. And it is a lot easier to build trust with a partner when you meet in person, look them in the eye, talk to them in the hall or in the bar…wherever. It is just easier to get someone to trust you if they have met you in person.

It may seem ironic, but the key to online success is to go offline!

Look events can be expensive and take a lot of time…I don’t actually like traveling much…I’m not that social of a guy, but still you just have to get out there and make those connections. It can exponentially increase the speed at which you can make stuff happen-it’s absolutely huge.

So personally, I’ll go in cycles…I’ll attend several events in a row and then maybe none for a year…and sometimes they just don’t fit into my schedule, like if I’m doing a big launch or something. But it is something that is worth the time and effort to do.

You’ll meet lots of other people, most of them with home based internet marketing businesses, too…and some of these folks will be new, some will be really experienced. You will build relationships, and trust, even friendships that will last you for years. And you do your first deal, you both make some money and now you have the proof, money and trust working for you…and you will meet more and more JV partners!
