Vision of The Teen Entrepreneur

There are certain things in your life that are not meant to be. You simply do not have to waste your time, energy and tears trying to make them a reality, instead reach for the things that are rightly yours. When one door closes believe that a better one is getting ready to be opened. Everything happening in your life, every challenge that you need to go through is geared towards a better you.

To shoot for the stars, change is necessary. The problem is not that we do not know or we need to learn more, but rather we need not to learn the things that are not working in our lives right now. We have learned so much and yet have so little to show in the way of entrepreneurship. We have to desist from blindly following our forerunners who desired no change.

Barack Obama America’s first black president reckons that “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” Barack Obama

To see any remarkable change in your wonderful existence, you must learn to change one person -YOU. However this will be impossible if you think you already know it all.

You have to learn to accept change if you want to be the entrepreneur that you desire to be. Many are afraid of the unknown, they are fearful of change. A man who is able to turn an unworkable situation around is a man of great means. At a point in everybody’s life a turn around is necessary, especially if doing the same old things and getting the same old results that is not helping you progress in life.

The go-getter teen knows that there are certain specific areas in their lives, where change must occur.

“There’s only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving and that is your own self.” Aldous Huxley

In areas of relationship – If the company of friends do not challenge them to reach their ambitions or goals.

In their academics – If their studying patterns are not helping them to make the grades.

In their habits and life-style – If their life-style does not support what they aim at becoming in the long term. Their ability not to procrastinate and engage in idleness.

All change starts from the heart, it takes tremendous effort to change what you are so conversant with. Change must happen if character is to be built.

“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. There is no real security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life and in change there is power.” Abraham Lincoln.

An important lesson to learn is that nothing ever remains the same. We are always retrogressing or progressing in life. Change is the one thing we must all embrace and accept. Note however that, just because everything is not the same does not mean that change has occurred. Sometimes we are deceived into thinking that when things look different, it means they have changed. Change is the actualization of the need to see a difference in one’s life.

Once the heart is moved in the right direction, then the whole mind, spirit and body will go along with it. Likewise a wrong move of heart will result in possible destruction.

Look carefully; the whole world thrives on change. Even look at your own life and notice how much you have changed from the time that you were a clot of blood, a baby who was born, a toddler and now a teen. The metamorphosis is incredible.

“One thing that never ceases to amaze me, along with the growth of vegetation from the earth and of hair from the head, is the growth of understanding.” Alice Walker.

Change must certainly occur if life has to go on. This is an understanding that everybody must grasp. In all our change, order must be maintained and preserved.
